Образовательная программа ЮФУ «Биоинженерия и биоинформатика» направлена на подготовку квалифицированных и конкурентоспособных специалистов, обладающих глубокими теоретическими знаниями и практическими навыками в области биоинженерии, биоинформатики, биологии и программирования, с целью использования биологических систем, информационных технологий, баз данных и искусственного интеллекта в хозяйственных и медицинских целях.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of the program are in demand both in fundamental science and in high-tech sectors of the economy. They successfully work in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, developing medicines, vaccines, and diagnostic systems. Many become bioinformaticians and data scientists at medical and genomic centers, processing vast amounts of genetic information using machine-learning algorithms. Other areas include gene and cell therapy, agricultural biotechnology, the development of disease-resistant plants, and microbial synthesis. Graduates also work as experts in forensic biology laboratories, environmental and analytical centers, and other organizations.
