About the training program

"Soil Engineering": As part of the program, students receive basic education in soil science and have the opportunity to work on the latest scientific equipment in the laboratories and resource centers of SFU. Students conduct scientific research in the field of modern soil science and related sciences, have strong contacts with potential employers, and implement joint scientific projects with leading foreign universities and companies. Internships take place in research laboratories and practice bases of SFU and in production organizations.

What do graduates do?

Graduates work in scientific and departmental research organizations related to soil research, as specialists in soil-ecological, soil-landscape, soil-reclamation, and assessment organizations conducting work on soil cover, as well as in agrochemical, cartographic, and agricultural organizations related to environmental monitoring and solving environmental problems. Most graduates work in general educational organizations, professional educational organizations, and higher education organizations.
