About the University
The university comprises 9 institutes and faculties offering Bachelor's, Specialist, Master's and postgraduate programmes, as well as secondary vocational education programmes. Classes are held in four academic buildings. More than 85% of the teaching staff hold academic degrees.
Today, GUAP is home to students from 34 foreign countries.
New competencies are developed at the university’s unique educational and research unit — the GUAP Engineering School. Its mission is to raise the quality of engineering training to a higher level and establish effective cooperation between education, science and industry.
In addition, GUAP students can enjoy a vibrant student life, including creative and sports clubs, the “Talent Show”, the “Spartakiad”, “Miss and Mister GUAP” and other activities.

School of Engineering
The Engineering School comprises 15 specialized laboratories established jointly with the consortium’s industrial and technology partners, “Engineering Education.”
The goal of the Engineering School is to develop in students a set of key competencies for working in high-tech industries.
GUAP Accelerator
An accelerator is an educational program for early-stage projects that are at the stage of formulating an idea and identifying their target audience! It helps students and young researchers from universities in St. Petersburg take their first step toward creating their own business and develop entrepreneurial skills.
CAIR
The Center for Aerospace Research and Development (CAIR) conducts research and experimental testing of innovative communication technologies, modeling, expert analysis, and the creation and development of computing and communication networks for real-world projects in the aviation and space sectors.
