About the training program
The program is focused on the study of Christian culture and religious processes of modern society within the framework of secular education. It prepares specialists in the field of theology and religious studies capable of working with spiritual-moral and worldview issues of youth. The training is aimed at preparing for professional activities in the field of religious education, enlightenment, and the implementation of state policy in the field of traditional values.
What do graduates do?
Education and science (teacher and researcher, scientific worker), sphere of activity of the Russian Orthodox Church (parishes, Sunday schools, spiritual educational institutions and organizations), administrative and managerial activities (specialist in traditional spiritual and moral values, Christian culture, religious issues, etc.), media sphere (religious blogging and religious journalism, media coverage of religious processes). It is possible to work in public councils and expert communities, including state, municipal, public, confessional, international, and interfaith bodies of legislative, executive, and judicial power.
