About the training program
The educational process is built around the comprehensive study of all stages of the life cycle of nuclear power plants and associated equipment. Special attention is paid to the deep mastery of specialized engineering disciplines related to the design and operation of the main equipment of nuclear power plants: nuclear reactors, steam generators, and turbomachinery. Students master complex physico-chemical processes occurring in equipment, learn methods of protection against ionizing radiation, and study the theory of neutron transfer to understand the physics of reactor operation. In parallel with the professional block, competencies in the field of natural sciences and mathematical modeling are developed.
