About the training program

The program includes 3 profiles: Energy Supply, Electrical Equipment of Vehicles, Electrical Devices of Stations and Substations. Multidisciplinary training within the program is aimed at forming a deep understanding of the processes occurring at all stages of the electricity path — from production at thermal and nuclear power plants to transmission and consumption at industrial facilities and in residential areas. Special attention is paid to modern approaches to automation, where methods of designing intelligent control systems and relay protection, ensuring the reliability and safety of energy supply, are studied.

What will they teach you?

  • Выключатели высоковольтные, проектирование низковольтных комплектных устройств;

What do graduates do?

Graduates work in construction and housing and communal services — designing and operating power facilities; in the power industry and nuclear industry — they are engaged in the operation of power and electrical equipment (main and auxiliary). They are also in demand in industry: they participate in the production of fiber-optic cables, the design and operation of power systems, electrical complexes, power supply systems, automation, and mechanization of production. They work with electrical equipment of different voltages, electrical machines, transformers, and energy flow control systems.
