About the training program

The program includes 3 profiles: Diagnostic devices for buildings and structures, Medical diagnostic devices, Computer photonics. Students study the physical principles of diagnostic equipment operation, non-destructive testing methods (ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal imaging), electronics, circuitry, sensors and embedded systems, signal processing and interpretation. They master the technologies for designing optical and laser devices, photonic components, and light guide systems, as well as modern software complexes for automating diagnostics, analyzing measurement results, and predicting the condition of objects.

What do graduates do?

Graduates can work in the field of instrument design and optoelectronic systems, at industrial enterprises (production and technical control of electrical, electronic, and optical equipment), in non-destructive testing laboratories (diagnosis of buildings, structures, materials), in medical organizations and medical equipment manufacturing companies (development and maintenance of diagnostic instruments), in research institutes (development of diagnostic methods and photonic technologies), in service and repair centers (after-sales service of technical systems), as well as in companies developing information-measuring systems and software for diagnostics.
