About the training program
The program is aimed at training specialists in the design and calculation of optoelectronic and optolaser measuring systems. Students study optics, quantum electronics, photonics, signal processing methods, and machine vision technologies. The training combines fundamental training with practical work on modern laboratory stands, including laser systems and interferometers. Special attention is paid to the application of optical methods in scientific research, as well as solving the tasks of digitization, data analysis, and the development of intelligent systems based on photonic technologies.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work in organizations engaged in the development and production of opto-electronic, opto-laser, and quantum-optical systems. They are in demand in the rocket and space industry, in companies creating orientation, navigation, and stabilization devices for aircraft, as well as in the fields of space communications and space control; at optical engineering and laser industry enterprises, they are engaged in the development of quantum communication systems, semiconductor lasers, optical components, and measuring complexes; in scientific centers developing machine vision, image processing algorithms, mathematical modeling, and inertial navigation systems.
