About the training program
The program prepares highly qualified specialists for work in the field of heat and power engineering with an emphasis on the economic and management tasks of energy enterprises. The training is based on an interdisciplinary approach: students study the technological features of the industry, master the calculation of costs and tariffs for heat and electricity, cost management, justification of investment programs, and modernization of energy facilities. Intersectoral integration, production planning, and analysis of the financial and economic activities of energy enterprises are also considered.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work in construction and housing and communal services (design and operation of thermal power and thermal engineering facilities), in the electric power industry, as well as in the field of comprehensive professional tasks to improve energy efficiency. They are in demand in the financial and economic and investment departments of energy enterprises, companies for the design, installation, and maintenance of energy facilities, planning and economic departments of industrial enterprises with their own energy management, design and research institutes, as well as in state bodies of energy and technological supervision.
