About the training program
The program provides engineering training for specialists to work with nuclear power plants and technologies. The training combines theoretical training with practical classes — in physical and digital laboratories. Students acquire skills in solving complex tasks: design, operation, modernization, and decommissioning of nuclear energy facilities. The practical component allows consolidating knowledge in existing power units and specialized enterprises.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work in the field of education and science — they teach, engage in scientific research in nuclear energy and thermal physics. In the nuclear industry — at nuclear power plants and specialized enterprises: they maintain and operate equipment (reactors, turbines, pumps, steam generators, etc.), work with control, management, and safety systems, and automated control systems. They are engaged in radiation control, ensuring the safe operation of facilities, developing and maintaining technical documentation. They are also in demand in related industries where nuclear and thermophysical technologies are used.
