About the training program

Training of highly qualified personnel in the field of theoretical and applied analysis of the stress-strain state of materials and structures under the influence of mechanical, thermal, and other loads. The program combines fundamental mechanics with applied tasks of strength, stability, and destruction of materials. Main areas: elasticity, plasticity, and creep theory (linear and nonlinear models); fracture mechanics (cracks, fatigue, brittle and viscous fracture); structural dynamics and stability (impact, vibrations, seismic impacts); composite and anisotropic materials (multilayer structures, nanomaterials).

What will they teach you?

  • Разрабатывать математические модели деформации и разрушения материалов
  • Проводить расчеты на прочность сложных инженерных конструкций (корпуса самолетов, турбины, мосты, трубопроводы)
  • Использовать CAE-программы (ANSYS, Фидесис и др.) для инженерных расчетов
  • Анализировать экспериментальные данные (механические, сейсмические, вибрационные испытания).
