About the training program

The “Heat Power Engineering and Heat Engineering” field concentrates all the advanced knowledge accumulated by humanity in the fields of thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, fluid and gas dynamics, and materials science, used in the creation of energy conversion systems of any kind. Whether a rocket is flying into space, a gas turbine is operating, or a nuclear power plant reactor is running, fundamental laws of nature and advanced achievements are at the core everywhere. This program trains specialists in power plants for producing electricity and heat of any type and on the basis of any primary energy resource.

What do graduates do?

The positions held by graduates depend on the place of work: research fellow for research institutes; assistant for universities; design engineer / commissioning engineer / designer / programmer / ecologist / economist / inspector / researcher / etc. for a design, commissioning, or inspection and audit organization; engineer for a production company.
