About the University
Oryol State University named after I.S. Turgenev is the largest university in Oryol Oblast and the only multidisciplinary center in the region that conducts continuous training of specialists at all levels in the fields of pedagogical, engineering, medical, natural science, and humanitarian education. In 2016, Oryol State University named after I.S. Turgenev became one of the first flagship universities in Russia, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019, and in 2021 became a participant in the state support program for universities "Priority 2030." The university includes 3 branches, 2 gymnasiums, and 11 institutes and 10 faculties. The university implements more than 300 main educational programs.

Center for Biomedical Photonics
Development of the scientific direction for creating methods and means of control for biomedical photonics, commercialization of high-tech products, strengthening the material and technical base for training specialists, and expanding international cooperation in educational, scientific, and innovative activities.

The main activities of the sports club are carried out in four directions:
- sectional work,
- participation in student competitions and holding them at its base,
- development of high-achievement sports at the university

At the disposal of guests are gazebos, event venues, cozy, well-equipped two-story cottages with all amenities. The base has its own stadium, football field, tennis court, and other active leisure facilities.

The student clinic has at its disposal:
