PROFILE: CHEMISTRY AND TECHNOLOGY OF POLYMER MATERIALS AND COSMETICS This profile prepares innovators in the field of material chemistry and cosmetic science who create the foundation for the products of the future — from high-tech polymers for smart packaging and biomedicine to efficient cosmetic formulas of the next generation. This is an interaction of organic synthesis, colloidal chemistry, rheology, and surface science, where students learn to design molecular architecture of materials with predetermined properties. Special emphasis is placed on the principles of sustainable development — the development of biodegradable polymers from renewable raw materials, recycling technologies.
