About the training program
The program opens up broad opportunities for young scientists to study complex and relevant problems of modern science. Biophysics is an interdisciplinary science that deals with the study of the physical foundations of the functioning of living systems at different levels of organization: from molecular to organismal. Within this program, students study the basic principles of biophysics, such as the laws of thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, information theory, and others. Also, graduate students take courses in molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, ecology, and other related disciplines. Students conduct scientific research, develop new methods and technologies in the field of biophysics.
