Rules for settling in a dormitory
Required documents:
- Student’s written application
- Original and copy of an identity document recognized by the Russian Federation
- Migration card
- Original of the residential lease agreement
- Medical certificate
- Fluorography examination results
Settlement conditions:
- International students must report to the Social Department within 1 (one) business day of arriving at their place of study to conclude a rental agreement.
- After signing the contract, the foreign national must also report to the dormitory for actual check-in within 1 (one) working day.

Additional information
SGMU provides its students with three well-maintained dormitories in convenient locations. All of them are situated near the main academic buildings and university clinical hospitals (UCH Nos. 1, 2, and 3), making it easy to get around the city during the academic year. Dormitory No. 1 is located in the very center of Saratov, within walking distance of the city’s main attractions. For students’ comfortable living, the dormitories offer both block-style rooms (for 2 people, with private facilities) and corridor-style rooms (for 2–4 people). All buildings have equipped kitchens, modern shower facilities, as well as dedicated areas, including study rooms and a library.
