BSU named after Dorzhi Banzarov is a bridge between the unique cultural heritage of Asia and advanced science. About the University
BSU combines advanced research in the field of biomedical and "green" technologies, IT, nanomaterials with in-depth study of cultural, legal, and economic systems of East Asia. The strength of BSU is integration: students learn to work at the intersection of disciplines, while scientists create breakthrough solutions, combining academic rigor and practical orientation, Western achievements and Eastern experience, the natural potential of Baikal, and the capabilities of artificial intelligence. Only at BSU do medical students take a scientifically based course in traditional medicine, scientists create a center for high-tech technologies on the shore of Lake Baikal, linguists study the world's largest collection of Tibetan manuscripts, and graduate orientalists work in international projects. Our strategic project "MedBioPharm" consolidates competencies in the field of innovative pharmaceuticals, regenerative biomedicine, and intelligent cybersystems.
