Admission as part of a general competition
Standard admission procedure for foreign citizens on general grounds. Admission occurs based on the results of entrance tests or on the basis of education documents.
Required documents:
Original and copy of the identity document of the applicant (notarized translation into Russian)
Optional
Original state-issued document on education with an appendix (about the studied subjects with an indication of the number of hours and grades for them). Or the original document of a foreign state on the level of education and (or) qualification, recognized in the Russian Federation at the level of a state-issued document on education (or its certified copy in the established order). Or in the case provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation, a copy of the certificate of recognition of this document.

Certificate of state testing issued by the center for testing citizens of foreign countries in the Russian language (first level) - if available.
Optional
Copy of a medical certificate confirming the absence of contraindications for studying in the Russian Federation (absence of HIV and AIDS), issued by an official body of the country (notarized translation into Russian). Copy of a medical certificate confirming the absence of HIV and AIDS, issued by an official body of the candidate's country of residence.

Compatriots living abroad must provide copies of documents or other evidence confirming the affiliation of a compatriot living abroad, the status of which is determined by Federal Law No. 99-FZ of May 24, 1999, "On the State Policy of the Russian Federation towards Compatriots Abroad."
