About the training program

This program, with the profile “Russian as a Foreign Language,” includes courses aimed at developing professional competencies in teaching Russian as a foreign language, studying modern teaching methods, linguistic and cultural studies, intercultural communication, and advanced practical proficiency in Russian. The program’s goal is to prepare teachers capable of teaching Russian as a foreign language in various educational institutions, developing and implementing educational programs that take into account learners’ language proficiency level and national and cultural characteristics, and applying modern methods and technologies for teaching Russian as a foreign language.

What do graduates do?

Graduates of the "Russian as a Foreign Language" program can work as RFL teachers at universities, schools, and language centers in Russia and abroad, as well as in additional education and cultural and educational centers. They are in demand as translators in public and private organizations, and as specialists in intercultural communication in international companies, tourism, and the hospitality industry. Graduates can also develop teaching and learning materials, work in PR and media, and, with experience, head educational centers and departments. Further study is possible in master's and postgraduate programs.
