About the training program
An architect-designer is a specialist in both architecture and design, integrating this knowledge into the design of residential and public buildings, as well as interior and landscape design.
The curriculum includes a range of specialized disciplines, such as interior design; the fundamentals and language of visual culture (graphics, color theory, modeling, and digital tools); urban environment design; ergonomics; finishing materials; the light-and-color organization of the urban environment and modern lighting systems; equipment design; and the landscaping of urban spaces.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of the Architectural Environment Design program are specialists who combine the skills of an engineer, architect, and artist. They work in architectural firms, design studios, and urban planning companies. Architect-designer: designs buildings as well as residential and commercial spaces. Landscape architect: designs parks, public gardens, embankments, and areas surrounding buildings. Interior designer: develops functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts for apartments, offices, and public spaces. Urbanist / urban architect: works on the development of urban areas, the creation of pedestrian zones, and “smart city” concepts. 3D visualizer: creates digital models of architectural projects.
