About the training program

The scientific specialty "Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods, and Program Complexes" (1.2.2)) is dedicated to the development and application of mathematical methods for studying complex processes and phenomena using computational technologies. Its essence lies in creating interconnected components: mathematical models of real processes, effective numerical methods for their analysis, and software complexes for conducting computational experiments. Within the specialty, scientists develop new mathematical approaches to modeling physical, technical, and other phenomena, create and justify computational algorithms, and implement them in the form of specialized software complexes.

What will they teach you?

  • Программирование и реализация вычислительных алгоритмов в виде программных комплексов на языках высокого уровня (C++, Python, Fortran, MATLAB и др.)
  • Проведение вычислительных экспериментов, обработка и визуализация их результатов, статистический анализ данных.
  • Валидация и верификация математических моделей путём сопоставления с экспериментальными данными и аналитическими оценками.
  • Оптимизация вычислительных процессов, включая параллелизацию расчётов и эффективное использование вычислительных ресурсов
  • Построение и анализ математических моделей реальных процессов различной природы (физических, технических, экономических, биологических и др.)
  • Разработка, обоснование и реализация численных методов решения прикладных задач, включая оценку их устойчивости, точности и вычислительной сложности
