About the training program
Within the framework of the highly qualified personnel training program, you will be able to implement your advanced scientific ideas in the fields of political economy, firm theory, economic modeling and econometrics, institutional analysis, behavioral and experimental economics. Our graduate students work under the guidance of leading scientists, engage in practical research, develop economic strategies for business and government, participate in international scientific projects, and obtain results that have theoretical and commercial potential.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of the "Economic Theory" program (5.2.1)) build careers in areas where deep knowledge of economic patterns, data analysis skills, and the ability to develop sound recommendations at the macro- and micro-level are in demand. In research organizations, they work as researchers and analysts: they study economic processes, test theoretical models on empirical data, publish articles in peer-reviewed publications, and participate in fundamental and applied projects. In universities and educational institutions, graduates teach economic disciplines, develop educational courses and methodological support, and direct student research.
