About the training program
Under the "Pediatrics" program, students gain knowledge about the peculiarities of the course of physiological and pathological processes, manifestations of the disease, and treatment tactics depending on the age-sex characteristics of children. Special attention is paid to issues of prevention and the upbringing of a healthy child. A graduate who has mastered the educational program and successfully passed the state final certification is awarded the qualification of "General Practice Pediatrician."
What do graduates do?
The district pediatrician not only examines children but also communicates with the child's parents in the correct way to make a more accurate diagnosis and conduct more successful treatment with their participation. He also acts as a psychologist for young patients. Important in the specialty of a pediatrician is the work on disease prevention. In the future, a pediatrician can specialize in residency and obtain one of the following specialties: pediatric gastroenterologist, pediatric hematologist, pediatric gynecologist, pediatric cardiologist, pediatric neurologist, pediatric otolaryngologist, pediatric ophthalmologist, pediatric radiologist, pediatric surgeon, pediatric endocrinologist, neonatologist, and others.
