Student Council

The Student Council of the Mining University is a body of 25 student clubs and 13 associations at which students hold championships, inter-university sports festivals, tours to production facilities, open scientific lectures and workshops, and even Butter Week festivities.

International Friendship Club

The International Friendship Club has been active since 2007. It regularly holds creative meetings, thematic lectures, leisure evenings, various competitions, exhibitions, and quizzes that reveal the culture and history of countries and peoples around the world.

Student Scientific Society

Members of the Student Scientific Society hold regular open scientific lectures, events, and workshops together with invited specialists from industry companies. They conduct tours to production facilities aimed at involving students in the scientific environment.

Institute of Mentoring

The Club's members help first-year students adapt to the Mining University. They invite everyone interested to the University's sports, scientific, and social life! The future mentors undergo regular training to know absolutely everything about the University.

Mining University's Choir

The Montem student club is actively gaining popularity at the Saint Petersburg Mining University. There, students develop their choral singing skills along with studying music theory and actively participate in mass cultural events.

"Miner" Sports Club

The Mining University's Sports Club offers over 50 types of sports: football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, wrestling, sports dancing, and others. Students participate in all-Russian and international competitions, win prizes, and defend the honor of the University!
