SibFU Representatives to Meet with Prospective Kyrgyz Students

Schoolchildren will find out about the university and hear career advice.  

Siberian Federal University will hold the Applicant 2019 festival in Bishkek on 5 December 2018. Senior schoolchildren planning to enrol in undergraduate programmes at Russian university, as well as their parents, are welcome. SibFU staff promise an interesting programme which includes math and Russian classes for 11th graders to analyse the most difficult entrance examinations problems; career guidance lectures. There will be also master classes in geology, materials study, biology and chemistry. For example, schoolchildren will see demonstration of colourful chemical reactions, crystal growing techniques and fluorescence. Also, they learn about SibFU faculties, application deadlines, admission requirements, entrance examinations and learning environment for foreigners. Career tests will be held at the end. To attract prospective students, SibFU closely cooperates with Kyrgyz education organisations. Every year, it arranges meetings with Kyrgyz schoolchildren, tests and fairs to promote education programmes. The university currently offers more than 200 undergraduate programmes in various fields.
