About the University
VSU is a classical university with a wide range of directions in the natural sciences and humanities. VSU provides training for students in 32 consolidated groups of specialties and training directions. The university is among the leading scientific and educational centers in Russia and is expanding the range of implemented educational programs in accordance with labor market demands. More than 21,000 students and postgraduates study at VSU – the largest number of students among all Voronezh universities. Every year, the university expands the geography of students admitted to the university. Today, representatives from 72 subjects of the Russian Federation study at VGU. More than 1500 foreign students and postgraduates from 70 countries are also studying at VSU. VSU has partnership relations with educational organizations in 25 CIS countries, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Cooperation is carried out within the framework of 79 international agreements and treaties.

Reserve "Galician Mountain"
The "Galicia Gora" Nature Reserve is one of the first nature reserves in Russia and is a conservation, research, educational, and environmental education unit of Voronezh State University.
Sports and recreation
VSU has all the conditions for sports activities: 6 sports halls, 2 gyms, a ski base, and a training swimming pool.

Museums of VSU
VSU is proud of 11 museums. Among them is the book museum, which houses rare editions, the VSU history museum, which tells the chronology of the university's formation, the geological museum, which displays more than 4000 exhibits.
All museums organize tours and exhibitions for students, emphasizing the scientific heritage of the university.
Scientific Library of VSU
The Zonal Scientific Library of VSU is the largest scientific-informational and methodological center of libraries of state educational institutions of higher education in the Central Black Earth region – its multi-profile fund includes over 3.2 million copies.
