About the training program
Over the course of two years, residents undergo intensive training through direct interaction with patients. Building on theoretical knowledge, they gradually develop a competency framework for treating critically ill patients and providing postoperative care, while acquiring practical skills. Practical skills and algorithms are taught using specialized simulators and mannequins that model critical clinical situations at the RUDN University Simulation Center and in the simulation classroom of the RUDN University Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, with the use of a specialized training system. Working with patients is a mandatory part of a resident’s practical training. Particular attention is paid to providing emergency care in critical situations.
