About the training program
At RUDN University, you can study the “Foreign Regional Studies” programme in the following specializations:

The programme is ideally suited to bachelor’s degree holders who have already acquired knowledge in foreign regional studies, political science, and international relations. An individual psychological and methodological approach to each student enables them to gain a broad range of knowledge about understanding the world as a single global system and develop the knowledge and skills needed to conduct theoretical and applied academic research in foreign languages in the field of international relations.
What do graduates do?
Graduates are in demand at Russian and foreign research institutes and organizations. They find employment in diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation and other countries, international foundations and organizations, the media, and often work in municipal and national government bodies, structures of the Russian Academy of Sciences, international cultural and educational centers, and elsewhere. Regional studies graduates are recruited by organizations such as the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Scientific Information for Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Rossiya Segodnya International News Agency, and the American Cultural Center.
