About the training program
Residency training is conducted at the department’s facilities, including clinical departments, hospital laboratories, and the PCR laboratory located on the premises of the Medical Institute and the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University. Throughout the training period, residents manage patients and master laboratory methods. During the first year, the focus is on preanalytics; subsequently, an individual plan is developed based on the resident’s abilities and interests. The practical training includes a simulation course, inpatient work, conducting and evaluating clinical laboratory tests, quality control, and advising physicians on laboratory diagnostics.
