About the training program
Students study the classical foundations of visual art in various painting techniques based on the traditions of the St. Petersburg art school with the aim of forming an independently thinking, modern creative personality, acquire basic practical skills in painting and drawing, as well as creating projects for the artistic decoration of Orthodox churches in various techniques of monumental and decorative-applied art. They also engage in the design of theatrical productions, the result of the artist's work in theatrical decoration painting being sets and sketches of sets, sketches of costumes, props, and other details of theatrical productions
