Rosneft and FEFU are developing a long-term partnership in education and research, including the advancement of degree programs in oil and gas engineering, chemical technology, and electric power engineering, the implementation of joint research projects, and improvements to FEFU’s research and educational infrastructure.
Employment assistance
FEFU actively supports graduate employment by developing strategic partnerships with leading companies across various industries. This gives students access to extensive internship and subsequent employment opportunities. In 2023, FEFU developed 9 network-based educational programs and 28 continuing professional education programs in partnership with the Government of Primorsky Krai, FESCO Integrated Transport LLC, DSK Primorye LLC, DGK JSC, the Amur Tiger Center, the Kurchatov Institute National Research Center, Primorsky Aquarium, the Ministry of Transport and Road Management of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and other partners. These programs are designed to address current industry needs and provide students with practical experience, in-demand skills, and direct contacts with employers. Tours of partner companies, such as Innopharm-DV LLC and the Arnika Group of Companies, are organized to help students adapt and provide career guidance to school students.

With most of FESCO’s assets geographically concentrated in the Russian Far East, the company is uniquely positioned to offer FEFU students internships in the rapidly growing Russia–Asia trade sector, with the prospect of subsequent employment at the company.

Sberbank PJSC
A leading global financial institution and a key partner of the university in the Russian Far East. The partnership includes joint educational programs, educational modules and programming lectures delivered by Sber specialists, as well as the development of the university’s educational and research environment.

PJSC RusHydro
PJSC RusHydro and Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) have been successfully collaborating since 2016, when they established the RusHydro Base Department at the university. The partnership includes training specialists for RusHydro facilities. Many FEFU graduates have gone on to successful careers with the company, including at the RusHydro Research Center on Russky Island.

JSC “DCSS”
JSC “DCSS” places great emphasis on youth development and actively cooperates with Russia’s leading technical universities, including FEFU. This cooperation focuses on training engineering specialists for shipbuilding and ship repair in the Russian Far East.
