Over its 95 years of development, Dagestan State University has trained more than 120,000 specialists who have made a significant contribution to the establishment and development of industry, the social sector, the agro-industrial complex, science, and culture throughout the country. Today, students undertake practical training and internships at more than 40 industrial enterprises in the republic.
Employment assistance
Dagestan State University places great emphasis on assisting graduates with employment. The university’s main employers are educational institutions of the republic. Every year, the university holds:
- meetings with major industrial partners of the republic, company representatives, the business community, and recruitment agencies;
- discussions with campaign experts;
- workshops on preparing a résumé and attending job interviews, conducted by HR managers;
- psychological training sessions entitled “Secrets of Effective Employment”.
