About the University
Lipetsk State Technical University, founded in 1956, is today the leading progressive scientific and educational center of the Black Earth region. It harmoniously combines the traditions of a strong engineering school with the challenges of the modern digital era, offering a wide variety of educational programs. The university covers almost all key areas of technology: from classical metallurgy and mechanical engineering to advanced nanotechnologies, IT, robotics, and modern architecture. Humanities and economic areas also play an important role, ensuring a comprehensive approach to specialist training. Graduates of the Lipetsk Polytechnic Institute form the basis of the engineering, technical, and managerial elite of the region. The university dormitory buildings are connected by a covered passage, which allows students to attend classes without going outside. It also provides access to the student cafeteria and buffet, providing quick access to dining areas.
Sports
For sports activities, there are two educational and sports complexes with a swimming pool and open sports facilities.
