Rules for settling in a dormitory
Required documents:
- Original and copy of passport
- Original passport translation and a copy
- Original birth certificate and a copy (for minors)
- Original temporary registration document and a copy (if available)
- 1 3×4 photo (can be sent by email upon check-in)
- The original and a copy of medical certificate СЭМД-196 (medical professional consultative opinion)
- The original and a copy of the fluorography certificate (if it is not indicated in the СЭМД-196 certificate). The certificate is valid for one year, but must have at least 2 months remaining before its expiry. Accommodation is not provided without the fluorography result.
- Original vaccination certificate or an extract from the vaccination record, and a copy
- HIV and syphilis test results (valid for two weeks)
- Copy of the health insurance policy
Settlement conditions:
- The student must be admitted to a state-funded place under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation.
- To move in, you must provide a complete set of documents. If the originals are in a foreign language, they must be accompanied by a notarized translation into Russian.

Security and facilities: Dormitories have controlled access, video surveillance, fire alarms, and metal detectors. Each room has power outlets, bed linen, and furniture for each resident: a bed, wardrobe, bedside table, shelf, chair, and desk (two per room). Accommodation conditions: International students are accommodated in block-type dormitories No. 1 and No. 5. Rooms are arranged in blocks (of 2 or 3 rooms), with a shared bathroom and shower for each block. Kitchens are located on the floors. Addresses and infrastructure: Dormitory No. 1, Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station, 86 Vernadskogo Avenue, Building 1. Facilities include internet access, study rooms, a library, laundry, an isolation room, bicycle parking, tennis, and billiards. Dormitory No. 5, Pervomayskaya metro station, 36 11th Parkovaya Street. Facilities include internet access, study and recreation rooms, a library, laundry, an ironing room, a cafeteria, a gym, a cinema, a photo studio, a luggage storage room, an isolation room, and bicycle parking.
