About the training program
The program is aimed at training specialists in the operation, maintenance, and development of relay protection systems, automation, and electrical equipment of power plants. Practice-oriented training includes extensive production practice (internships at specialized enterprises) and is conducted with the involvement of employees of electric power companies. Students gain fundamental knowledge and practical skills using advanced educational technologies, which ensures their competitiveness and readiness to work in the conditions of modernization and digitalization of power systems.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work at power plants and energy companies, engaged in the adjustment, testing, operation, and diagnostics of relay protection and automation devices. They are involved in the calculation and adjustment of relay protection and automation parameters, technical accounting, and analysis of their operation. Specialists are in demand at facilities with generators, synchronous compensators, power transformers, high-voltage switches, measuring transformers, complete distribution devices and systems for the own needs of power plants, as well as with operational direct current systems and emergency event recorders.
