About the training program
The program "Mechanics and Mathematical Modeling" is focused on the study of the following problems: • numerical methods in the mechanics of continuous media; • application of mathematical methods and mathematical modeling in scientific research; • mechanics of liquids, gas, and plasma; • solid mechanics; • study of transport processes under microgravity and at the microlevel; • modeling of motion with phase transitions; • theory of gravity and thermal convection, thermocapillary; • flows in porous media (oil and gas); • dynamics of viscoplastic fluid (wells, avalanches)
