About the training program
The philosophy of this educational program is that the future belongs to philologists with fluent command of foreign languages. The professional profile of a graduate in applied philology includes: professional (fluent) command of the first and second foreign languages at C2 and C1 levels, respectively; impeccable command of their native language; the ability to translate and edit texts in their native language and two foreign languages; proficiency in various types of translation; the ability to engage in academic discussions in the first and second foreign languages; and comprehensive knowledge of world and Russian cultures. The study of two foreign languages is mandatory.
