About the training program

The program aims to provide fundamental training for teachers of Russian as a foreign language to teach Russian language and literature to international students and engage in research and practical work in the field of modern Russian. Particular emphasis is placed on intercultural communication and taking into account learners’ linguistic and cultural backgrounds. You will study: modern Russian from a theoretical perspective; methods of teaching Russian to non-native speakers; Russian culture and literature; foreign languages at a level equivalent to training in foreign philology; and the history of world literature. Studying two foreign languages is mandatory.
