About the training program
Educational program philosophy: a modern translator is a first-class mediator in intercultural communication. The aim of the program is to train translators who possess not only excellent knowledge of foreign languages, but also fundamental linguistic knowledge. Our students’ education includes: fundamental language training in two foreign languages; a strong emphasis on theoretical disciplines that make it possible to understand the language being studied as a system in all its aspects (theoretical phonetics, grammar, the history of the language, etc.); linguistic and area studies disciplines that enable students to immerse themselves in the culture of the language being studied; and practical study of various types of translation.
