About the training program
The aim of the programme is to train students to address the tasks of providing linguistic support for communication processes in intercultural interaction. One of its objectives is to describe linguistic diversity and study bilingualism and multilingualism. Students explore the conditions for successful communication (linguistic pragmatics), compare the linguistic categories and structures of Russian and foreign languages (contrastive linguistics), address issues involved in describing the Russian language from a communicative perspective (functional grammar and the grammar of dialogue), and study modern methods and technologies of artificial intelligence in the humanities, including linguistic expertise, discourse analysis, and organisational and business communication.
