About the training program
The “History and Culture of Latin America” programme is the only educational programme of its kind in Russia. It is designed to address the shortage of professionally trained specialists with expertise in both history and contemporary issues of the Latin American region.
Its central principle is to study the history of the Latin American region from the pre-Columbian era to the modern era without artificially dividing it into ancient, medieval and modern history, as this periodisation is not applicable to this civilisational area.
