About the training program
Religious Studies is a discipline that examines religion as part of culture and society. The study of religion is based on historical, cultural, and contemporary materials covering primitive, national, world, and new religions.
Our students:
● gain in-depth knowledge of various religious traditions, their history, ritual practices, and teachings;
● study ancient languages and become thoroughly acquainted with the sacred texts of the major religions—Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism;
research the foundations of religiosity as a psychological phenomenon, the functions of religion in society, and its influence on culture.
