About the training program
The programme in “Special (Defectological) Education,” with a focus on “Preschool Defectology,” trains specialists to work with people with hearing, visual, speech, musculoskeletal, intellectual, developmental, autism spectrum and multiple disorders in educational and healthcare organisations. Defectologists participate in psychological, medical and educational commissions, identify special educational needs and the conditions required to meet them, develop adapted educational programmes, and create a corrective and developmental environment. Practical training takes place in educational organisations. Students conduct research through the student academic society and participate in conferences, competitions and academic olympiads.
