Admission as part of a general competition
Standard admission procedure for foreign citizens on general grounds. Admission occurs based on the results of entrance tests or on the basis of education documents.

Admission to the Olympiads
Preferential admission for winners and prize-winners of international olympiads included in the list of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The right to admission without entrance exams is granted.

Important information
Medical certificates usually need to be obtained in Russia after entering the country, and they are valid for a limited period (for example, 3 months for a temporary residence permit (TRP)). The university may require them for moving into a dormitory and/or for migration registration.
