About the training program
Only Dubna University offers an educational program specializing in “Electronics and Automation of Physical Facilities,” based at the Laboratory of High Energy Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), one of the world’s largest research centers. At other universities, the “Nuclear Physics and Technologies” program focuses on the theory of nuclear physics.
Here, you study electronics, microprocessor systems, automated control systems, sensors, and digital signal processing—not on training rigs, but on operating facilities:
The NICA superconducting heavy-ion collider, one of the most powerful accelerators in the world.
The program is taught by academicians and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
