About the training program
The "Decorative and Applied Arts" program allows, along with fundamental university humanities training, to master professional knowledge, skills, and technologies of creativity in the field of decorative and applied arts. Mastering painting, drawing, sculpture, learning to create compositions in various materials and techniques (ceramics, hot enamel, porcelain painting, hand weaving, batik, tapestry), in-depth study of the history of visual and decorative and applied arts at the Russian Museum of Ethnography, the Hermitage, and the Kunstkamera provides students not only with an extensive factual base but also forms creative abilities for creating author's works.
