About the training program
The "Antiquity" program introduces students to the world of antiquity and Byzantium. To turn this acquaintance into professional knowledge, the program includes courses on the history of the Ancient World, the history of literature, mythology, introduction to the profession, and more. A separate direction of research in antiquity and Byzantine studies, which students are introduced to, is the study of the perception of ancient and Byzantine heritage in later eras, the use of ancient images, plots, and ideas in the art, literature, and culture of modern times.
