Along with the study of special disciplines — political technologies, modern Russian politics, comparative political science, political theory — students gain knowledge in the fields of economics, sociology, law, statistics, and programming languages. Graduates have the opportunity to work in government bodies, in the field of political research, political analysis and consulting, PR, GR.
What do graduates do?
The labor market for graduates of the educational program "Political Science" is quite dynamic, and the organization of academic and extracurricular activities in the program allows taking these features into account. Great attention is paid to the organization of students' practice: to ensure an individual approach to each student, a special Tutoring Center has been created at the faculty. Graduate political scientists are not only specialists in GR and political PR, but also analysts, research scientists, employees of public organizations and party apparatuses, political journalists, and founders of their own businesses.
