About the training program
The program is intended to provide systematic knowledge about the nature of the development of the world economy as an interconnected system of national economies, international organizations, and transnational structures interacting on the world stage, as well as to help understand the main trends, problems, and prospects of the world economy. Graduates of the program are a new generation of economists with competencies that allow them to assess the breakthrough potential of a wide range of scientific and technological changes in the world, accelerated by actively developing digitalization.
What do graduates do?
Students of the master's program "World Economy" successfully work in various organizations. They find themselves in leading consulting companies such as BCG, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, EY, and Accenture. In the energy and oil and gas sector, they work for companies such as LUKOIL Overseas, SIBUR, Tatneft, Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, and Gazprom VNIIGAZ. In the banking sector, they are accepted by VTB Group, Sberbank, Citibank, and Raiffeisenbank. In trade — Unilever, Nestle, Mars, Ferrero, and others. They also work in state and non-profit organizations such as the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, as well as in research structures.
