About the training program
World History is a field of historical scholarship that develops fundamental theories concerning the world-historical process; studies the history of humankind from prehistory and the emergence of the first civilizations to the present day; analyzes the diverse trajectories of the sociopolitical, socioeconomic, civilizational, and cultural development of regions, countries, and peoples of the world (Europe, Asia, Africa, North and Latin America, and Australia) across different chronological periods and eras; and examines historical reality from concrete-historical, comparative, interdisciplinary, and theoretical perspectives.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of postgraduate programmes can pursue careers in research, education, culture, public administration, and analytical fields:
- Researcher at academic institutes, universities, and research centres.
- Higher education lecturer in history, cultural studies, and international politics.
